Before you purchase a coat or any other item, please be sure you know your measurements. We have a chart in each listing that shows you how to measure. We recommend measuring a favorite coat that you like how it fits. More information can be found on our FAQ page.
All coats are sold "as is". Due to the nature of the product, there will be NO returns, exchanges or cancellation of orders. Please read the entire description, measurements and look at all of the photos before purchasing. We offer $17 flat rate insured shipping on all coats/jackets in the lower 48 states. We had to slightly raise our flat rate shipping due to Shopify raising the price of shipping and insurance. All of our coats are shipped via UPS ground unless you choose a different option at checkout. Once we have shipped your item, you will receive a tracking number. Most orders will ship within 24 hours if possible. We ship between the hours of 8 am-4 pm Central time Monday through Friday.
About out Coats:
All of our quilt coats are lovingly made from Vintage or Antique quilts. None of these quilts are perfect, they all have small character flaws, possible stains, etc. I do my best to point out any of these in the description of each coat, but if you are looking for the "perfect coat from a perfect quilt" these may not be for you.
All coats have been hand made by me right here in my home studio in Tennessee. (nothing is outsourced). I pick out all of the quilts, hand cut and sew all of the binding etc.These coats are wearable art!! We recommend spot cleaning if needed. If you need to launder your coat, it is recommended that you do so by hand with a mild detergent and hang to dry. They can be put in the dryer on low for 3-5 minutes (to fluff them up). All quilts/textiles have been laundered prior to use.For our WOOL coats: please do your research on the best way to clean wool, never ever expose it to heat/the dryer.
We ship Worldwide. ALL cost associated with taxes/duties/VAT/etc. are the responsibility of the buyer. We are happy to ship domestically and internationally, but once the package leaves our hands it becomes the responsibility of the shipping company, we do not take responsibility of lost/stolen or damaged items in the shipping process.
